I was so happy to receive an email last week introducing me to up and coming designer Nary Manivong who will be showing tomorrow at Fashion Week!

The Spring 2009 collection left me quite impressed, so I cannot wait to see his Fall line...


To celebrate the upcoming show (which you can watch live via his website tomorrow!), and as an early Valentine's present, we are giving away a Nary Manivong original design... this sweet little heart!

oh my, i am swooning over this collection. i am loving the strapless silk floral brushed stroke print dress. it is gorgeous!

The whole collection is really beautiful...the way his one-shouldered dresses and shirts are cut seem really innovative. But I think my favorite is the gray dresss with the pink wrapped around the waist. Those two colors look stunning together!

Thank You for the site information. I have to say, I do like the gray backless little dress with the pink criss crossed around the waist. I don't think the same result would be maintained with my figure, but nonetheless I love it all the same!

Love the Spring 09 collection. I adore that last outfit: the salmon pink pants with the great v-foldover band coupled with the white tank shirt with the pleating on the front.

I love #3. So feminine-Sex In the City! The ruffle on top is playful yet girly. The burgundy florals really pop against the beige. Wish i had this dress in my closet :)

Ooo! Great colour schemes! My favorites are the first two looks you posted - the black and white one-shouldered deep V neck dress and the strapless floral dress but I love the grey and pale pink combination on the flowy grey dress! It plays along with the really popular colour combo of grey and coral! I think the first two looks would be perfect for a tea party, picnic, or outdoor cocktail party!

I really love his new collection. I really liked the entire line but my faves were the salmon dress, the tiered one shoulder white top, and the floral black and white one shoulder dress.

His line is very fresh and looks like they have great movement.

I love the second to last dress. ITs gray with florals. Kinda right in the middle length and very cute..I love his stuff!

We loved the first dress, and LOVED the salmon colored shorts with the black and white top! That could go to any event...casual or formal.

Oooo. How fun! I love #8 myself. So classic, yet that neckline is perfectly modern!

Wow...that is difficult to choose just one favorite. But I love the 11th look: the patterned top with gray skirt and sleeve accents. So different but it looks very wearable.

I am absolutely in love with the first look. It has such a sexy-mod thing going on.

I'm loving the shade of pink throughout the collection, but I especially like the cute little solid pink dress. Makes me want spring now!

I love the white tank with the pink front tab cross over pant. It's a dainty feminine look with clean sophistication. I would love to wear it to an outdoor dinner date or Sunday brunch. It's just delish.

I love the 40's vibe he has going and yet it feels like 80's too. Love the criss-cross details!

I HEART THE PINK AND WHITE!!! Especially the first 4 looks of the Spring 09 collection. I literally gasped out loud when they loaded. I'm also IN LOVE with number 10 from the Spring 08 collection. It's so cool and relaxed looking. Great for spring and summer in the south!

oh my...i love the pants and white top, but on my frame i'd definitely want the corally pink v-neck dress. i would wear it all summer!..and wave down the ice cream man to buy treats with the change saved up in that sweet little coin purse. :)
